If you create an account on the services, you are responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your account password, and you shall be responsible for any activity, including disclosure of your personal information, that occurs using your account credentials, whether or not you authorized such activity. Users in Colorado have certain rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA).

Right to Access Information/Correct Inaccurate Personal Data. You have the right to request access to Personal Data collected about you and information regarding the purposes for which VOA collects it and the third parties with which data has been shared. You also have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data. You may submit such a request as described below.

Right to Obtain a Copy of Personal Data. You have the right to request a copy of the Personal Data that you previously provided to VOA in a portable format no more than two (2) times per calendar year.

Right to Deletion of Personal Data. You have the right to request in certain circumstances that we delete any Personal Data that we have collected directly from you or from a third party. You may submit such a request as described below. There may be circumstances under the law when VOA does not have to comply with your request or may comply in a more limited way than you anticipated. VOA will in all circumstances provide an explanation of our compliance decision in our response.

Right to Opt-Out. You have the right to opt out of processing personal data for the purposes of and as defined by the CPA: (A) Targeted Advertising based on your Personal Data obtained from your activities over time and across websites or applications; or (B) The Sale of Personal Data to third parties. VOA does not profile as defined by the CPA.

Right to Appeal. If we decline to take action on any submitted request per the CPA, you may ask that we reconsider our response by sending an email referenced below from which you receive the decision. A reconsideration request will be timely if submitted within forty-five (45) days after we send you, our decision. You may contact the Colorado Attorney General if you have concerns about an appeal. If you are located outside the United States of America, be aware that your data will be transferred and stored in the United States, and US law may be deemed by your country of residence to have inadequate data protection standards.
