Crisis Supported Housing

The purpose of this program is to prevent homelessness while helping individuals transition to and live independently in the community.

Crisis Housing provides individualized housing supports and services for adults with a severe mental illness. Supports are available twenty-four hours/seven days a week.

The services provided are based on recovery principles and include, but are not limited to, medication management, training in independent living skills, linkages to community resources, supportive counseling with an emphasis on medication compliance, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and crisis response and prevention. The program participant does not have to have an income for admission to the program.
