Peaceful Village

Peaceful Village offers transitional housing services through an 11-unit, 2-bedroom apartment complex providing supportive services and housing opportunities in Lafayette. This program provides a stable and safe affordable housing option for unaccompanied adults receiving mental health services. We provide onsite staff 24 hours a day to provide supportive counseling, medication monitoring, transportation to appointments, psychosocial skills training, and vocational/employment assistance. We are able to provide this service through a contract with Louisiana Clinical Services. Referrals must be received from the one of the clinics operated by the Acadiana Area Human Services District. The goal of this program is to have the individual succeed in transitioning to permanent housing. The maximum length of stay is 2 years.

This program is not prepared to work with individuals who may be actively suicidal, homicidal, gravely disabled, intellectually disabled, has a history of violence, or those individuals who may be experiencing serious medical complications.
